PowerKeys for Logic 8.x

This new upgrade includes a new overlay with all the great new features incorporated in Logic 8.x. We incorporated as much as default keycommands from Logic 8.x to our Powerkeys set. We also tried to maintain the same shortcuts we had in Powerkeys for Logic 6.x and 7.x, so you do not need to learn a new set from scratch.

There are two new Powerkeys sets: one for iKey users (other kyb) and one for the new Apple keyboards.

New solution for Apple keyboards!

We created a new solution for the new Apple keyboard, that can be used not only with our Powerkeys set for Logic, but also with any other Keycommand set you might want to do for any other program. It includes a clear acrylic base that supports the Apple keyboard where the labels are attach to. It can be comfortable placed on top of your Keyboard or workstation. If you want switch to another keycommand set, just peel off the labels and switch them.


The Design of our Key Commands are based on:

The kit consists of a color-coded keyboard overlay for an extended keyboard along with 400 pre-programmed shortcuts that addresses the Editing, Audio, Midi and Score sections of Logic Studio. Powerkeys gives beginners a firm foundation to jump into the program and cuts the learning curve way down. For advanced users, the speed and organization found in the kit are a tremendous help.

  • Software Compatibility:
    The key commands were designed to be compatible with the key commands of other programs such as ProTools. It also includes some of the frequently-used commands from Performer, making your change to Logic much smoother.
  • Functional Design:
    Color coded and modifier keys are organized to their functionality. ie: Orange for Audio, yellow for Edit Functions, etc.
  • Kit Includes:
    Laminated color-coded keyboard overlay, Learn Labels, Power Tips Chart.
  • Compatible Mac Keyboards

    There are two options:

    1- Apple Keyboards:
    The Powerkeys for Logic 8.x for Apple keyboards includes a clear acrylic base where the Apple keyboards and the labels are attached to with velcro.


    2- For iKey keyboard users and other compatible keyboards:

    This set includes only the labels. Any keyboard you want to you use with Powekeys labels, needs to have space above the F-keys in order to attach the labels to the keyboard.

    We recommend the following keyboards:
    1- Matias Keyboard USB 2.0 *

    * Due to the keyboard design, one numeric pad label will not work.
    Ergonomic and extra small keyboards will not fit the stickers.
